  2. Spiegel Online 04/08 IPCC Bericht 2007 CO2 in der Atmosphäre: So steht es im jüngsten Klimareport der IPCC. Die Grafik zeigt die CO2-Konzentration in der Erdatmosphäre über die letzten 10.000 Jahre bis ins Jahr 2005. Dabei stammt nur die rote Spitze der Kurve von direkten Messungen in der Atmosphäre. Werte für weiter zurückliegende Zeitpunkte haben Wissenschaftler aus Eisbohrkernen gewonnen
