Process Engineering SupervisorAdrian-USA – Engineering Department Location: Adrian, MI Direct-line Manager: Eric Salenbien – Engineering Manager Dotted-line Manager: Posting date: 10/16/2013 Recruiting HR: Melissa Farrell Mission / Job summary The Process Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the performance of the Blow Molding Machines and their Processes. This individual will lead a team of Process Technicians and Process Engineers, ensuring the attainment of objectives including Scrap, Usage, OEE, and TPM completion. This individual must be able to teach and mentor the Process Group, and coordinate and plan Blow Molding related activities. Required skills, knowledge & abilities Supervise the Process Engineers and Process Technicians Coordinate Continuous Improvement Activities to improve Scrap, Usage, OEE and SMED, while setting and meeting OT cost objectives. Coordinate TPM and Corrective Maintenance Activities along with the Maintenance Supervisor Improve Process Control and Stability, including maintaining documentation for Process Parameters, Setup Manuals, and trouble-shooting guides. Coordinating the necessary Training for the Process Group. Maintain up to date Work Instructions. Improve productivity on shop floor. Education & Experience Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years supervisory experience of technical trades in automotive manufacturing Position advertised for a minimum period of 1 week and until a hiring decision is made Please submit internal application form and detailed resume to your local HR department and to the recruiting HR
