  3. Why do we have different seasons? • The earth is actually tilted as it rotates around the sun! • Because of the tilt, the part of earth where we live is not always directly pointing to the sun. • Don’t worry….we can’t fall off!  Click the home button to go back to the table of contents!

Fall More fall facts! • Also known as Autumn • Happens in September & October • How can you tell by observing your world? • Air gets colder • Leaves change colors (brown, gold, orange, red) • Sun sets earlier • Halloween, pumpkins, leaves, scarecrow decorations around your community Are you ready?

  5. Show me your fall knowledge! By observing your community, how could you tell it is fall? • Snow on the ground • People in bathing suits • Leaves are changing colors • Easter decorations are out
