2. How do I create online assessment on Edusoft?

3. Click on Teacher Tools Tab Click on Assessments Click Create New Test

4. Enter general test info: • Exam name • 2. Choose a save folder location. • 3. Click OK

5. Select “School District” Click Continue

6. Select standards group • Florida Next Generation Standards • AP Standards • Select specific subject • Identify the body of knowledge/grade

7. Select the specific benchmarks that you will be creating questions for Click Continue

8. Review the selected benchmarks Add more benchmarks if necessary or click Continue

9. Select Section Type: Standard Select Question Type: Multiple Choice Select Default Value: 1 Click Continue

10. Select the specific standard for question. Click on blue link on bottom “Create a Question”

11. Question Creation • Number of answer choices: Select # • Answer Choice label: style of answer choice • Align to Standard: select specific benchmark • 2. Click Continue

12. Click Edit to insert Question Click Edit to insert answer choices

13. Copy and paste question from test bank, word document or create a new question. Format question using tool bar similar to Word.

14. Select the correct answer choice Click Preview

15. Review question Click Save if this is the only question you are adding Click Save and Add another to add more questions

16. Review # questions selected for test You can add more Click continue

17. Click on blue link “Test Details”

21. How do I assign an online assessments to my students?

23. Select testing parameters • - Testing windows (time frame) • Set time limit • Select desired test settings • 2. Click continue

24. Select students that will be assigned test • Click by periods or courses • 2. Click continue

25. Select the periods that will be taking assessment 2. Click continue

29. Click Admin tab 2. Click Rosters

30. Click on Blue Link “7721 South Miami Senior High”

31. Click on Blue Link “User Profile” to create a student login

32. Click on Blue Link “Create a login for this user”

33. Create a username for the student • Create a pattern for all students • Easier in case the students forget • 2. Click continue

34. User Profile will include selected username and assign a password for the student Print to provide to students

35. PART II: Assigning a Test Ticket

36. When selected test options • Select “Students must have a ticket to take this test” • 2. Click continue

37. Select students that will be assigned test • Click by periods or courses • 2. Click continue

38. Select the periods that will be taking assessment 2. Click continue

39. Click “View Assigned Students”

40. Displays list of students selected for online test Print this list to provide students with ticket #

41. How do students login to complete an online assessment?

42. WEBSITE: www.edusoft.com/test • Students enter login information • assigned username and password • assigned ticket

43. IF TICKET WAS USED. Student must verify their name before test directions appear

44. IF USERNAME AND PASSWORD WAS TEACHER CREATED List of online assessments will appear Student must click on blue link of the specific test
