  3. Preliminary list of development documents (26?) Development plans and strategies: • Latvia (Regional development strategy, Spatial Development plan, development strategies of cities and towns, sector specific strategies, etc.) • Russia (...)

  4. Analysis (1) • Name of the document, number of pages, annexes • Annotation (no more than ½ page) • Approval date, institution • Document preparation time (from/to), involved persons (leaders (project managers) and executors (who wrote the plan?). • Involved institutions (name, addresses, contact persons, web page)

  5. Analysis (2) • Document updates (describe process) • Implementation and control mechanisms (and reality) • Table of Contents • SWOT analysis • Development vision

  6. Analysis (3) • Main development aims/objectives, tasks, priorities, strategical development directions (divided by levels) • Major indicators (if any) • Reflection of following measures/activities/projects: • development of transport infrastructure, services and accessibility • polycentric development of cities and towns • environment and nature protection • development of information society • political co-operation. • Business support activities/measures • Personal opinion about the document (design, ease of use, language, content)

Analysis (4) • How many references you could find in the internet to that document? • Does someone knows about the document existence (ask 5 friends, 5 business persons and 5 passers-by) • Opinion of politicians about the document (ask 3 politicians in charge) • Availability of document for general public • Key words of the document (name 5) • List of projects (if applicable) • Cartographical information (please attach scanned/color copies)
