The landlord of every home brings at the church a pomegranate. When the family returns home the landlord does not come inside. He must ring the doorbell because he must not use his keys to open the door. Entering as a guest with his right foot, he will be the one to do good omen, holding the pomegranate in his hand. Then he throws the pomegranate with force in order to break it. Berries are thrown everywhere while he says: With health, happiness and joy in the new year and as many berries has the pomegranate so pounds to have our pocket throughout the year.
