  1. Stegosaurus By Justyn Bryant

  2. General Information • The Stegosaurus lived mostly during the late Jurassic period, and were thought to have lived in the Lower Morrison Foundation. • The Stegosaurus was thought to mostly eat mosses and ferns on the ground, since It’s head was low to the ground. Although, it could stand up on it’s hind legs and eat leaves from atop trees

  3. More Information • Stegosaurus translates into “Roof Lizard”. • The Stegosaurus was hunted by the Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Marshosaurus, and Torvosaurus. • Most dinosaurs were thought to be healthier than most humans, so it would be presumed that they were less susceptible to disease • I picked the Stegosaurus because it’s my favorite dinosaur.

  4. Stegosaurus’s effect on the environment • Stegosaurus’s would probably eat a ton of food or more so, considering their size. • Stegosaurus’s would also eat small birds and animals, so there’d be more of those scampering about.

  5. How stegosaurus’s went extinct • Well, the most popular theory of dinosaur extinction is the meteor theory. • The Meteor Theory is the thought that a meteor crashed into earth at some point in time, which spewed out tons of dust into the atmosphere, and blocked the sunlight. Blocking the sunlight, the plants naturally died. So then, the herbivores of the time died. And when they died, the carnivores had nothing to eat, so they died out.
