  1. Arts & Entertainment Projects • World Choir Games • YPKC Volunteer Opportunities for all YPKC members (specific code for YPKC members to register on World Choir Games website) • Promote Metro Culture Card • Be ambassadors of the World Choir Games and promote the games to YP’s and other YP organizations in Cincinnati. • Quarterly Event/Restaurant Night • Select an event on a specific night in the Gateway Quarter and/or downtown and partner with a few restaurants for YPKC members to receive discount with proof of their ticket stub. • Ie. Attend Ensemble Theater performance, receive a free beer at Lackman or %10 off at Bakersfield • “Try Something New Nights!” (working title) • Promoting lesser known events and organizations in town like the sketch comedy Little Big Night the Know Theater produced by YPKC member, Jeremy Mosher or the Young Professional Choral Collaborative.

Health & Environment Projects • Partner with OTR Homegrown community garden • Support urban agriculture & composting efforts in Cincinnati • Central point to interact with community at planned events to highlight local food production as well as block cleanup • Support Bar and Restaurant Recycling Program • Identify neighborhood for efforts to create a district with 100% recycling participation • Promote Obesity Prevention and Improved Access to Health Services • Partner with Let’s Move campaign • Host youth physical activity events: • bike riding skills event • hip-hop dance event with Elementz • Play 60 event with the Bengals • Improved promotion of health services resources and events such as Closing the Gap Health Expo

Livable Communities Projects • Street Car Saturdays • Event highlighting locations near strategic Street Car stops • 3rd Saturday of the month • Engage local business and restaurants • Neighborhood Discovery Weeks • Provide information and discounts from local businesses • Housing tours showcasing the neighborhood’s livability • Encourage local and new YPs to explore unfamiliar areas • Neighborhood Clean-Up/Partner with Future Blooms

Public Safety Projects • Future Blooms Partnership • Reduce blight and crime • Make a Difference Day • “A Safer Cincinnati” - A Safety Awareness Week • Five days, five districts • Connecting people with available services • Youth Collaborative - Engaging Cincinnati Youth for Safer Communities • Avondale Youth Council • Identify other opportunities

Quality of Life Projects • Cincy Pass (Key to the City) • Discount/Coupon book to highlight Cincinnati communities • Community involvement & ownership • Cinterest (Pinterest) • Cincinnati gets a new name – asset based approach (highlight community gems) • Cincy Clean • Improve neighborhoods • Utilize abandoned plots, garden, etc. • Collaborate with neighborhood community, involve youth • Cincy Mentorship • Connect professionals to Cincinnati youth • Career Day / Panel

Strategic Growth Committee Projects • Continue the Cincinnati Access for Young Professionals (CAYP) • Host exclusive, behind-the-scene tours to showcase Cincinnati-exclusive points of interest • Tours have booked within hours of announcing • Places toured so far- • Paul Brown Stadium • Cincinnati MusuemCenter • National Underground Freedom Center • Cincinnati Music Hall • Next Tours • Cincinnati City Hall April 11th • Great American Ballpark May 8th • More coming soon…

  7. Strategic Growth Committee Projects • Lunch. Learn. Live… Cincinnati • Host a variety of networking lunch and learn series to connect YPs • There are ten different lunch and learn series • First event is proposed at Cincy’s on 6th

Transportation Projects • "Go With the 'Tro" Metro bus scavenger hunt • In its second year, this event will have • participants use clues to travel to prominent • Cincinnati landmarks on Metro buses. • Bike Friendly Workplace program • YPKC members will work with local companies to • encourage bicycle commuting. • YPKC Metro bus bar crawl • Participants will ride Metro buses to a • neighborhood bar district, with drink specials and • prizes for showing their transfer ticket.
