Welingkar Students Interact With Noble Laureate Dr. John Robin Warren

On 6th January 2014, Noble Laureate Dr. John Robin Warren was in the town for 102nd Indian Science Congress held at the University of Mumbai. He paid a visit to students at WeSchool (Welingkar) and shared his views for creating excellence in professional pursuits across domains and specializations. Dr. Warren’s decision to meet the young minds of WeSchool was influenced by its Group Director, Dr. Uday Salunkhe.

  2. On 6th January 2014, Noble Laureate Dr. John Robin Warren was in the town for 102nd Indian Science Congress held at the University of Mumbai. He paid a visit to students at WeSchool and shared his views for creating excellence in professional pursuits across domains and specializations. http://www.udaysalunkhe.com

  3. On request from Welingkar, Warren also shared the journey of his life as he chased his convictions and passion with perseverance. http://www.udaysalunkhe.net

  4. “When we started on our journey, scientific and technological tools were not advanced. Science believed that bacteria couldn’t grow in stomach, good biopsies were rare, and there were no clinical specimens. Gastritis was not understood well by the medical fraternity. But we refused to be discouraged, kept experimenting with determination and after years of dedicated hard work, discovered the bacterial strain. It was a quite a miracle and opened new vistas in discovering treatments for Gastritis and peptic ulcers for making the life of human beings more productive and healthy,” Dr Warren said during his presentation of Heliobactor – the ease and difficulty of new discovery. http://www.udaysalunkhe.in

Dr. Warren’s decision to meet the young minds of WeSchool was influenced by its Group Director, Dr. Uday Salunkhe. “Irrespective of the area of one’s pursuits the basics of excellence remain the same- dedication, sagacity, commitment and perseverance,” Uday Salunkhe added his own views on the topic. http://www.udaysalunkhewelingkar.com

  7. “Design thinking and innovation are at the core of WeSchool philosophy and such interactions reiterate the same mind-sets among the students.
