4. Present Plot Events • Professor Sherman found in the Atlantic Ocean and no one knows how. • He won’t tell the mayor or president his story. He will only tell his club, The Western American Explorers. • He goes on the presidential train to San Francisco to be taken to his club. • He is taken to the Western American Explorers Club by the mayor to tell his amazing story.

5. Past Plot Events • Professor Sherman of lands on the island of Krakatoa. He was found by Mr. F. • He meets Mr. F and the Krakatoa families and is shown around the island. He also finds the diamond mines. • Mr. F tells Professor Sherman the history of Krakatoa. He also tells him about the government, calendar, and the food calendar. • He shows him Mr. M’s house that has a lot of cool inventions in his house. • They finish the Merry-Go-Round and they ride it.

6. …More Past Plot Events • Mr. F tells Professor Sherman about the eruption of Krakatoa. • Professor Sherman tells the Krakatoa families about the people and Krakatoa. • Then Krakatoa erupts and the people do there job in the escape plan. • Everybody gets onto the platform with hot air balloons and they fly away. • All the families jump off with there parachute, and Professor Sherman and the F’s stay on. They stay for a couple more days then jump off. • Professor Sherman has to land the platform.

7. Conflict and Resolution • Main Conflict : Professor Sherman wont tell his story to the public. • Main Resolution : He finally tells the Western American Explores Club. • Conflict : Krakatoa erupts • Resolution : They get off the island • Conflict: Professor Sherman does not have a parachute. • Resolution: He lands the platform in the water.
