  1. Paris in the Spring!Join us during Spring Break, 2005It’s not too early to think about a trip to Paris next Spring. (It’s never too early to think about a trip to Paris!) Present plans (still tentative) are to leave on the evening of Thursday, March 3, and return on Saturday, March 12. We will be in Paris eight nights. The itinerary will be flexible, but we will see at least two major museums (the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay), at least two of the big parks (Jardin du Luxembourg and one other, maybe the interesting Parc des Buttes Chaumont, a favorite of Parisians), probably the famous cemetery Père Lachaise (with the graves of Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf among others), well-known and lesser-known cathedrals (Notre Dame, Sacré Coeur, St. Eustache), as well as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées, etc. There will be time for shopping and, naturally, for eating. If you want academic credit, consider the course described below. But if you just want to see Paris, come with us and enjoy!
