  2. The aim of the project • To monitor the institutional and geographical spread of corruption in Lithuania TILC

Stages of the Project I Stage: • Measurement of attitudes of general public and entrepreneurs towards corruption, it’s level and role in the society; their personal experience in confronting cases of corruption (bribes); sources of information about corruption; • comparative analysis of current results and previous results of the analogous survey “Map of Corruption in Lithuania - 2001” II Stage: • additional analysis of general public and entrepreneurs’ opinions about reasons of corruption, structure and “technology” of nonofficial payments.   4. I Stage • Sponsor: USA Embassy in Lithuania • Surveys were conducted by Great Britain - Lithuanian public opinion and market research company “Baltic Surveys” / The Gallup Organization TILC

  5. Methodology: • National representative surveys of Lithuanian public and entrepreneurs in November – December 2002; • 1012 residentsand1017 entrepreneursinterviewed; • Face-to-faceanonymousinterviewsconducted. TILC
