  2. Overview of the iPad Home Power Button: Press/Hold Volume and Mute/Lock Camera Dock/Speakers

  3. Set up email on iPad • Open Settings • Tap Mail,Contacts,Calendars • Open Add Account.... • Choose "Microsoft Exchange“ • Email field: email address • Server field: a5do-exch07.anderson5.net  • Domain: acsd5_nt • Username: username (example: annabaldwin) • Password: your Email password

  4. Camera • Screen shot: Home + Power • Camera (Front/Rear) • Still and Video • Camera Roll (All/Photos/Videos)

  5. Close Apps • 4 finger pinch • Double Tap Home (all apps appear) • Power Off (press and hold Power)

  6. Notes • type a sentence (select inside a word) • split keyboard • double tap a work (copy, select all, define, speak..) • press and hold the , . vowels, comma, period, zero, # • Shake your iPad – undo • Double Tap Spacebar

  7. Keyboard Shortcuts • Settings-General-Keyboard-Add New Shortcut- Phrase- Type your Full Name – Shortcut-Initials • Open Notes and type your initials • Double Tap Arrow – Caps Lock

  8. Safari • Type in address: anderson5. • Press and hold .com and choose .net • Tap Go • Send to: Email, Add to Home Screen, Bookmark, or Reading List • History/Bookmarks/Reading List

  10. iTunes Account w/o Password • Open the App Store on your device.  • Find a free application on the App Store. • Important: Before proceeding to the next step, you must download and install the free application by tapping Free followed by tapping Install App. • Tap Create New Apple ID. • Choose your country, and then tap Done. • You'll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Tap Agree located at the bottom of the page to continue. • Enter your email address, security questions, birthday, and create your password. • You also can enter an optional rescue email address. If you frequently change email addresses, it is recommended that you add a rescue email address. Lea • Once you are satisfied with the information entered, tap Next. • Select None as your payment option. • Continue to fill out the required email, address, and phone number fields. Tap Next. • You'll then see a screen that says "Verify your Account." Tap Done, and check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store. • Open the email, and click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.  • Once you tap the link, the App Store should automatically open and prompt you to sign in with your account name and password. • Tap Sign In, and you will see a thank you screen. • You have set up your account successfully, and you can start enjoying iTunes, iBooks, and the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
