  11. Reading and Rhyme • Poetry is a great way to improve reading fluency • The students will be collecting poems throughout the year • Folders can be taken home on Fridays • Students can recite poems for the class if they would like; please initial mastered poems

  15. Math Facts • Goal: To memorize addition and subtraction facts. • NEW! Flash Cards • Keep flash cards in school bags • Students meet with me to try their facts and then get a new set if memorized • Addition cards: pink • Subtraction cards: green • Save cards for review and practice
