  1. Rotary Foundation • Henry Blatman- Rotary Foundation Director for 2012/2013 • Getting my head around all the good work

Rotary Foundation Aims for this year: • To bring attention to the great work of Foundation – it’s more than eradicating polio! • To continue the $150 club contribution per member • To improve number of members who are part of “Every Rotarian, Every Year” program to 50% • Support the work of RCAP International Committee with Grant Applications • Support applications for Post Grad Scholarship or World Peace Fellows or both Two Rotarian members prepare breakfast for children in two schools every morning in Aquas Negras. Funded by numerous Rotary clubs around the world

Rotary Foundation Aside from Ending Polio the Work of the Foundation includes: • Ambassadorial Scholarships • District Grants • Group Study Exchange • Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) Grants • Rotary World Peace Fellowships • Volunteer Service Grants • Disaster Recovery Rotarians talk to fisherman about repairs to boats after the 2004 tsunami

Rotary Foundation About Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) • It’s a discretionary fund raising initiative at member level • It’s the charity of every Rotarian • All money raised goes to the work of The Rotary Foundation * There is increasing pressure from other charities spending lots of donations on promotion Group Study Exchange Team with Leader (Julie Mason) and Families

Rotary Foundation Every Rotarian Every Year –Why do it? • It’s your gift to the world - Tax Deductible - Every cent goes to the work - Some of the Money comes back to club to use in your projects Rotarians from Illinois, USA hike through the jungle to deliver water filters to the remote village of Tatin, Guatemala.

  6. Rotary Foundation Every Rotarian Every Year – R.C.A.P. This years B.H.A.G. set by the board - 30 members: 50% of membership!
