This reform didn’t work out so well so Japan went back to a regionalized government. • Describe the nature of Japanese society and economy during the period of the daimyos. The signification started by a combination of imperial military and regular settlement. Korea dominated social life and political offices. • Compare the cultural differences between Vietnamese and Chinese. • Vietnams cultural influence was mainly from China. Both countries had a strong link to Confucian philosophy. The people from both countries must respect there elders and were educated with high values. They also both had the same fest values. Both Vietnam and China both had the same religion worshiping Buddha.

  9. Questions! • Describe the Vietnamese government after the expulsion of the Chinese. The Vietnamese changed after the expulsion of the Chinese. They were much more similar to the Chinese system. But the rulers only wanted the elite to rule not the people. Fortunately the Buddhists connected with the commoners. Compare the degree of the Signification in Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. Japan struggled with Confucian and the ways of writing. There religion was Buddhism. Korea had a feudal ruling system and Buddhism was widely accepted. The schools in Korea taught mainly Chinese culture rather than Korean. Families continued in the government rather than the knowledge. Vietnam started to combine with a smaller copy of a Chinese Burecracy. There religion was also Buddhist.
