  2. Salir de means to leave a place. Salgo de la casa a las siete. I leave home at seven o’clock. Salirparameans to leave for. SalimosparaEuropamañana. We’re leaving for Europe tomorrow.

  3. Salir con means to go out (both with friends and romantically). Salgo conunos amigos esta noche. I’m going out with some friends tonight. Ana sale con Miguel. Ana is going out with (dating) Miguel.

  4. VER (tosee) (yo) veo (nosotros/as) vemos (tú) ves (vosotros/as) veis (Ud., él/ella) ve (Uds., ellos/as) ven Ver and mirar(to look, to watch) are often used interchangeably. ¿Quéhaces? - Veo (miro) la televisión. What are you doing? - I’m watching TV.

  5. OÍR (tohear) (yo) oigo (nosotros/as) oímos (tú) oyes (vosotros/as) oís (Ud., él/ella) oye (Uds., ellos/as) oyen ¿Oyes algo? -Sí, oigo música. Do you hear something? - Yes, I hear music.
