  2. Expectations • All PD facilitators must be officially trained in the Florida PD Standards • Site Trainers: ESE, TEC, SSDC Reps, TOSAs, Ed Services Wing & APs • Trainers ensure that necessary training occurs and documentation is entered into ERO

Time at schools - 1 day - 2 reviewers • Interview 5 - 6 teachers (target - 30 minute interviews) • Interview Principal and other AP’s (if responsible for ensuring staff development of individuals)

Review Continued … 4 Point Rubric for Each Standard 1 = UNACCEPTABLE – Little or no evidence that the standard is being implemented 2 = MARGINAL – Some of the inconsistent evidence that standard is being implemented (a few of the components of a standard are being implemented) 3 = GOOD – Considerable evidence that the standard is being implemented (many of the components of the standard are being implemented) 4 = EXCELLENT – Pervasive evidence that the standard is being implemented (almost or all components of a standard are being implemented)

  14. Next Steps • In order to award inservicepoints to training participants, the PD facilitator must be trained in the PD Standards • Training components need to include: - Essential Question Discussion - District PD Website - DOE Website (spend most time here) - At least 45 min to an hour
