  2. Purpose of Study • Ascertain an estimate of expenditure on electricity to power staff computer infrastructure • Determine $ savings potential in implementing various measures to improve efficiency without affecting productivity

  3. DOE & EPA Computer Electricity Research • $25 - $75 savings per computer per year • 39% of computers in businesses are left powered on overnight and weekends • Study translates to savings of $13,750 - $41,250 yearly on DESKTOPS alone • Laptop savings not estimated as part of this study
