  5. The Slight Edge of Success • It is doing simple things everyday over time even when you don’t see the immediate result.

  6. Consistency over a long period of time. • Every decision, (even the “insignificant”) you make matters. • Diet • Business • Spiritual life/holiness • Education • Athletics • Relationships • Finances

  7. A typical unsuccessful but “safe” person tends to start and stop making choices on either side of the curve. Spiritual Life Diet Grades Goals Education Health Relationships Finances

  8. Making the right choice every time will eventually pay off.

  9. Successful people…. • “Identify habits that don’t serve them and replace them with those that do.” • Reflect….. Plan, do, check and adjust. • Are willing to fail. • Form relationships with positive people and if necessary disassociate with those who bring them down. • Read at least 10 pages a day from a positive or educational book. • Understand the power of simple things. • Don’t give up. • Understand the slight edge and they put it to work for them.

  12. Imagine • How much of the Bible you could have memorized now if you have been choosing to memorize every day. • Not having that struggle with sin if you depended on God and spent time with Him each day.
