  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • As we worship today Jesus reveals his glory in the kind of people that he mercifully calls to serve him and in using the gospel to make them willing to follow him. May God bless our worship as we see how “The Lord’s Call Changes Hearts & Lives”.

  6. Prayer before Worship • Lord Jesus, I am in awe of your mercy for me, a sinner. You died and rose for my salvation. You have given me your Holy Spirit so I can believe in you as this dark world’s only Light. Fill my heart with a growing appreciation for your mercy to me, and use me to bring that same mercy to others. Amen.

  8. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  9. New Member Seminar • “Connecting Members In Christ” is a seminar for members new to St. Peter. • The seminar will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 9:30 am – 1:50 pm • “Veteran” St. Peter members are welcome to come to review the responsibilities and privileges of membership.

  10. We will be crafting at Key to Life on Friday, January 27th, 6:00 – 10:00 pm All ladies of St. Peter are welcome. Invite your friends, too! If you’d like to learn a new craft please call Kim Bethke at 581-8396 Ladies Hobby Night

  11. Kindergarten 2012-2013 St Peter School is hosting an informational meeting on Monday, January 30st at 7:00 pm for the parents of children entering Kindergarten this fall term 2012-2013. Come with your questions and get answers. See the value of beginning your youngster at an early age in a Christian environment.

  12. Pre-Marriage Seminar Saturday, February 4th, 9am - 2pm For those planning a wedding or a refresher for those looking at refocusing their marriage.   13. Men’s Club Monday January 23 Supper hosts are Jeff Canniff and Pastor D. with the door prize by Mark Frailing. The agenda includes 2012 offices, Lenten supper, the MLC choir night, and remaining plans for spring. Let’s gather at 6 in the church kitchen area.
