  4. PASSWORDS Definition: A string of characters that a user must enter to gain access to a resource that is protected Do not set up any passwords of your own on the Commercial Art computers Your login password is your Student ID#

  5. PRINTING You must ask permission before printing! ONLY print Commercial Art work that you are asked to print Be SURE you are ready to print – CONSERVE! All other printing must be pre-approved and is subject to a fee (10¢ for B&W, 50¢ for color)

  6. LOGGING OFF / SHUTTING DOWN Log out of your account, THEN shut down At the end of every class

  7. PROBLEMS with:COMPUTERS, SOFTWARE, ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Visually check yourself FIRST –Are all cords plugged in to the wall?Plugged into the computer? If not, please let Ms. Messer know DO NOT attempt to repair or trouble shoot software or hardware DO NOT change any electrical connections on any piece of equipment without permission
