  1. Headings: 80 point • Poster Printing: • Only posters printed using this template will be printed for you at CIAT. • Final deadline for printing at CIAT: January 4. • Place this file on a CD or USB drive and bring it to CIAT (Cook, Room 405) ATTN: Tiffany Henley. You can also email the file to Ms. Henley (thenley@towson.edu). • For assistance, please call Multimedia Services at 410-704-2005. • Design tips: • Do not add a color to the background. Use of a color in the background dramatically increases printing costs. • Keep the body text greater than or equal to 50 point. (Fonts smaller than 50 point will be difficult to read once printed.) • Less is more: Distill the information on the poster session to the most concentrated amount. • Use less than three different fonts and less than three colors in your poster ; otherwise, your poster will difficult to read. • In PowerPoint 2007/2010 for PCs, saved graphics can be added by clicking Insert > Picture. Then choose the image file you would like to add. • For digital photographs of Towson students, faculty, buildings, classrooms, and events, see the Image Gallery here: http://www.towson.edu/photographicservices/image_gallery.asp • If you are scanning images, scan with an image resolution at a 300 ppi/dpi. Resolutions below that size may appear blurry or pixelated (see below). Images higher in resolution may corrupt the document during printing. • 300 dpi 100 dpi 50 dpi Poster Title: 120 point
