  2. New Jersey • In New Jersey, Storm Sandy strikes. They had mostly flooding. Cars, houses, and streets were underwater. Many people had to evacuate their homes. There were also high winds. Many trees and houses fell down.

  3. New York • In New York, wind and rain flows to houses. The strong and powerful wind pushed them down. Many people had to evacuate their homes. Flooding ruined houses. More streets were under water.

  4. Connecticut • In Connecticut, Storm Sandy was not as bad as New Jersey and New York. We had wind and rain. Most people lost power because power lines were down. Our state was lucky to have Halloween.

  5. Massachusetts • In Massachusetts, even more streets, cars, and houses were ruined. Again people had to evacuate their homes. There was major flooding. In Massachusetts people were not expecting Storm Sandy to be that bad. But they were wrong.
