Scope : • In depth overview of “Queueing Theory” and its an application to my professional job Motivation : • This theory is applicable to nearly all part of life; in the hospital, in the bank etc. I would like to show an application this theory and on to my job Goal : • To understand and enhance my knowledge about “Queueing Theory” and to show its application to real life.

Description : • Approach/Strategy: • Researching theoretical background of the theoryfrom the reference papers, articles and books • Defining the elements of Queueing Theory application set • Resource Requirements: • Articles and papers written on the theory • Internet search • Papers written on Queueing Theory • Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

Product : • A final report and a presentation covering theoretical information and applied form of the Queueing Theory. • Researching theoretical background of the theoryfrom the reference papers, articles and books • Defining the elements of Queueing Theory application set Benefits • High level of knowledge will be gained about the Queueing Theory which is widely used

Master Schedule : • Developing plan for the project : 20 June – 25 June (3 hours) • Constructing theoretical background for the project and analyzing the data: 25 June – 5 July (10 -12 hours) • Applying case studies to the theory: 5 July – 10 July (10 - 12 hours) • Writing Report: 10 July – 16 July (16 - 20 hours) • Preparing the presentation: 16 July – 22 July (8 - 10 hours) • Total time for project – 47 to 57 hours
