Important Events (cont.)‏ • 1663, elected lecturer in Rhetoric at Christ Church • 1664, elected Censor of Moral Philosophy at Christ Church • 1667, moved to London as personal physician of Lord Ashley • 1668, elected to the Royal Society • 1674, received Bachelor of Medicine at Oxford and was licensed to practice medicine
