Introduce technology that residents/service users can operate themselves with minimal supervision Smart Speaker devices can be in place to play age appropriate media, prompt to take medication or be used to keep in contact with loved ones. Telepresence devices could be used to ‘virtually’ visit a service user, saving travel time and allowing for more interactions throughout the working day Release time for more meaningful caring by Carers Releasing Time to Care

  8. Supporting Care Delivery TEC can be used to support carers in delivering outstanding care, and is not intended to replace carers or face to face interactions and support provided. Whether this is by saving time, or performing light duties to assist the carer in daily duties.
