CMAS Purpose • Perform technology transfer and support of Models-3 to the air quality community • Bridge segments of community • Grow developer and user communities • Information clearinghouse • Hub for modeling education • Develop and market CMAS value to become self-sufficient • Provide resources to the community in a cost-sharing manner

Research Coordinator-Rohit Mathur • Verify scientific review of Models-3 changes • Either peer reviewed publication, or • Convene review panel with 3 outside reviewers • Report results of testing, evaluation, and review to EAC. • Coordinate Models-3 Research Activities • Seek Collaborators for improvements and enhancements to Models-3. • Establish dialog with AQ modeling community to set research agenda

Software Development CoordinatorAlison Eyth • Track all requests for change through process • Document procedures for configuration management, benchmark testing, and documentation – for approval by EAC. • Document procedures for revision control, documentation of model data sets, and naming conventions– for approval by EAC. • Software for tracking and authenticating model version used and options selected for each application.
