  2. What is Single Subject Research?

Definition • “The aim of single subject experimental research is to clearly establish the effects of an intervention on a single , the intent is to ensure that changes in responses are indeed the result of that intervention and are not a consequence of chance of other factors (McCormick,1995, p.1)”

  4. Definition • Single subject main purpose is to analyze a behavior and establish an intervention that is relevant to that particular behavior.

  5. Definition • The designs provide a novel set of research tools to answer critical questions, particularly in relations to the effect of interventions (Kazdin, 2011, p.vii)
