FGUA Systems Decommissioned • Apache Shores: • Water System – FGUA had already tied into County Utilities • Wastewater System – tied into County utilities in 2011 • Lakeside: • Water System – consistently rising organics in water. Interconnected with Citrus County’s Charles A. Black water system in 2009/2010 • Spring Gardens: • Wastewater System – tied into Meadowcrest Wastewater Plant in 2008/2009

  4. FGUA Water SystemsMinimal Modifications Necessary Oak Forest Golden Terrace • No upgrades. Receives water from City of Inverness Spring Gardens • Minor modifications of controls, new auto-dialer added, building upgrades, hydro-tank painted, and new piping • Replaced well pumps & column pipe, upgraded building and repainted hydro-tank and piping • Rosemont/Rolling Green • Upgraded building, hydro-tank, piping and repainted

  5. FGUA Systems – Substantial Improvements Citrus Springs • Installed over $6 million in water lines. New ground storage tank, high service pumps and controls at Citrus/Pine WT #1 • Water System • Wastewater System Undergoing design in 2012. Plan to connect to the newly expanded Meadowcrest wastewater system, when necessary.

  9. FGUA Systems – Substantial ImprovementsGospel Island Water System • Replaced entire water plant • Saved 40% versus cost to interconnect with City of Inverness, as FGUA had planned.

FGUA Systems – Substantial Improvements Point O’ Woods • Water System • Filters refurbished with new resins and pressure sustaining tank • Remodeled operation building • Control panel upgraded • Wastewater System • Complete upgrade to class one reliability for less than half the budget planned by FGUA • Upgraded lift stations, aeration tanks, filters, control room and plant equipment

Citrus County Water Resources All projects identified at the time of acquisition of FGUA systems, except those deliberately delayed , such as Citrus Springs and Sugarmill Woods wastewater treatment plant upgrades, have been completed. Summary Detailed system models, system mapping through GIS Division, and other devices, such as telemetry and advanced SCADA systems, have enhanced system operations. Low pressure problems that were rampant in Pine Ridge, Citrus Springs, and Sugarmill Woods at the time of acquisition, are no longer an issue.
