  3. The Mystic Medallion Once upon a time there were twins named Crystal and Jule. The had a mother and a father and lived in a small apartment in New York city. It was a Wednesday night and they were all sitting at the dinner table eating pizza. They were blurting out random comments such as “I got fired” said their father. “Oh my” said their mother. Page 1

  4. The Mystic Medallion continued….. The two girls were also speechless. To make everyone calm down Jule said “ I got and A on my spelling test”. “ Well Jeremy looked at me” said Crystal. Jeremy was her secret love that only her sister and her knew about. Then it was their mother’s turn and she said……. Page 2

  5. The Mystic Medallion continued….. “ We are going to move to Texas”. The two girls stared at their mother, but not their father. He knew about this all along they could tell. Now it all made sense their father had quit his job so they could move. At first Crystal and Jule were mad at their mother and father for not telling them, but soon they got used to the idea. Page 3

  6. The Mystic Medallion continued….. By now the sisters have told their friends and it was a done deal. They packed for a few days and then set off. It took them a week since they were traveling by car. When they arrived they started to settle in and of course Crystal and Jule were to curious of their back yard the didn’t even help unpack. Page 4

  7. The Mystic Medallion continued….. When the girls arrived in the back yard they thought they were dreaming. It was a big open space with meadows and the woods and a cute little pumpkin patch. At their apartment their back yard was a porch. The girls ran through the meadow feeling like the luckiest girl ever until they found a huge cave next to a tree. Page 5

  8. The Mystic Medallion continued….. Now the cave had lots of big and little stones blocking the entrance. For one hour they removed the stones one by one on to the ground. Finally when they were finished they went inside and found a big stone with a J on it in the middle. It was connected to a string and it was almost like a necklace.” The J is for jules” said Jules. Page 6

  9. The Mystic Medallion continued….. Their mother yelled “ Dinner ”. The girls ran inside and ate some bread with oil and some salad. When it was time to go to bed they set their discovery down on the living room table. The next morning they told their parents. Their parents realized it was gold so they sold it to the museum. The girls kept half of the money. Page 7

  10. The Mystic Medallion continued….. Crystal and Jule had their first day of school. After school they had to go to the library with their baby sitter to do history homework. Crystal found a history book and found a page called Mystic Medallion. They read that pirates had hid a medallion with a J carved into it and that it had magical wish granting powers. Page 8

  11. The Mystic Medallion continued….. Those sisters were determined to get their precious discovery. So, that night the snuck out of their house and went to the museum. Luckily it was closing in one hour. When it closed the twins hid and opened up the glass case and took the medallion and replaced it with the amount of money they got for giving it. Page 9

When the girls got home Jules wished she could do ballet like her new friends at school and Crystal wished the really hot guy at her new school Scott would like her. They’d just have to wait till the next day to find out. The next day at school Crystal got a note saying you are cute from Scott. Crystal was very glad. Page 10

  13. The Mystic Medallion continued….. Later that afternoon their mother said ” Jules I found this ad in the newspaper about ballet do you think you’d be interested”. “ Yes yes” chanted Jules. They told their mother how they had took back the medallion after learning about it the library and how it had magical powers and all of that. Page 11

  14. The Mystic Medallion continued….. “Well girls it seemed like you’ve had quite an adventure” said their parents. That night they talked it all over and decided they would make sale for twenty bucks you could get a wish and no money wishes. They had lots of business until one day a robber stole it. Jule and Crystal’s father said “ All my wishes are right here”. They all lived happily ever after! THE END Page 12
