Major Accomplishments • Organized Regionalindustry day in 2010, student conference (2006) and international research conferences with new model, record attendance, within budget, and with high quality. • Founder of Maine COM/CS Chapter, WIE and GOLD AG. • Published over 70 proceedings, journal articles, and 3 books. • Received best paper awards (both Conference and journal). • Invited talks at Stanford, MIT, Cornell, GMU, LMCO, NASA JSC (TX) and GSFC (MD), INRIA (France), UofT (Canada), and several conferences (e.g. Sensors 2013 and ICNC 2014). • Received over $5M research awardsand managed 21 private, federal and state funded projects in the past 8 years.
