  4. To arrive on time for class To attend school regularly To bring the correct equipment To get on with the teacher and your peers To follow instructions To have respect for yourself To let others in your class work * Remember – respect is a two way process Mutual respect andcaring for others

To be treated fairly by teachers and your peers To ensure you and the teacher create a good learning environment in the classroom For the teacher to be a role model For assumptions not to be made about pupils as learners For teachers not to have favourites (demotivating) Honesty and fairness in our actions

To give praise To be understanding To provide interesting lessons, which all of you can access To offer help and support To be interested in you as individuals To support each other To be able to work on your own, in pairs and groups To use your initiative To learn in different ways Individual needs and development

  7. Teachers are learners too School helps you learn for life but you need to be active in this process by.. Having the enthusiasm and motivation to learn To be adaptable to different types of learning To be able to work independently, in pairs, groups and with your peers and teacher To use the knowledge you learn and transfer it to different subjects and settings to help you learn even more and better Set yourself short and long term goals that will help you achieve To remain focused and behave in a way that promotes success in learning for all Success in learning for all
