What’s Not in the Initial Release • NO direct to data support • NO direct to OLAP support (other than BEx Queries) • No direct access to SAP ERP (R/3) • NO Live Office support • NO Enterprise Search • API & SDK Gaps (new AJAX and RESTful SDK planned for 4.1 to provide support for almost any web development environment. ) • CR for Enterprise XI 4.0 SAP BW reports no longer save to SAP BW repository, the following features are not available on CR for Enterprise SAP BW reports: • RRI • SAP Variable Personalization

Overview of the Crystal Reports SDKs offered by Crystal Reports versions • CR 2008 reports RAS SDK applications can migrate immediately: • Fully supported by Crystal Reports 2011 processing stack • BOE Java SDK available immediately for Crystal Report 2011 : • Applications using the Crystal Reports processing servers to view reports will be fully supported (i.e. OpenDocument & URL-based API ) • Applications using the BOE SDK to schedule / publish reports are fully supported • Building applications which utilize the .NET SDK not be possible in the initial release • No SDK support to modify “CR for Enterprise” documents • Customers looking to build applications that modify or create reports designed using the SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise Designer will have to wait for a subsequent release
