  1. The following demo demonstrates features and benefits of the Fasfold CNC controller when retrofitted to a new or used Pressbrake. It can be retrofitted to Nut stop as well as Hydraulic stop machines from 1 to 4 axis It can utilize AC or DC servo control It uses a 15 “color touch screen which makes it lightning fast to alter or enter things. There are 39 slides Use the left mouse click to go to the next slide. Use the Backspace key to go to the previous slide. You can also run the actual Fasfold program from your desktop.

  2. Press on the quickdraw button to go to the quickdraw screen

  3. Press here for the start of the profile

  4. Press here for the First dimension

  5. Then here for the first bend

  6. Then here for the second bend The grid size can Be changed here

  7. Then here for the third bend Undo the last bend with this button

  8. Then here for the forth bend

  9. Then here for the fifth bend

  10. Press here Then here to move the corner out here Use the draw/Edit button To modify the profile

  11. Press OK to return to Main screen

  12. Press on any dimensions or angle Here to alter or fine tune Press on the collusions button to work out an automatic bend sequence

  13. Press first Press second Press last Then press OK

  14. This is the bend sequence for this job - 12543

  15. The bend sequence can Also be set manually By using this button

  16. This is the 5th fold done third Bend sequence can be set Automatically to avoid collusions By pressing collusions

  17. Each fold can be simulated and inspected This is the 4th fold done forth By touching the numbers below you can step through the folds quickly without material or time waste

  18. This is the 3rd fold done last It is quick to work out the fastest method by changing sequence or Folding from rear rather than front of material

  19. The dimensions and angles can also be fine tuned here

  20. The Job name button is used to enter a new name

  21. Alphanumeric names can be given

  22. Use Open and Save to save or open Jobs from the Library

  23. Use these to scroll to the next/previous page Select the appropriate Job by pressing on it

  24. Angle Trim value • Sign indicates bend is done • from the back of the material The job opens with ALL relevant data – Bend Sequence, Right tool & Die, correct V, Material thickness and width, which bends was done inserting material from the back etc.

  25. Blue (-) indicates fold done from the bottom Blue (-) indicates fold done from the back

  26. Press on the DIE to go to the Die screen

  27. Then the distance from the edge Draw up a new Die by entering the first V Width on the left, Then which side it is on 1,2,3 or 4, Then the angle in this column, You can also press open to select a Die previously saved Then the height, width and tool name Finally press save to store it in the library

  28. Use these to scroll to the next/previous page Select the Die needed for the job by pressing on the Die

  29. Press on the Tool to go to the Tool library

  30. Use these to scroll to the next/previous page Select the Tool needed for the job by pressing on the Tool

  31. Press Download to send the Data to the PLC on the machine Jobs can also be downloaded from the office

  32. Press Start to run the job

  33. Next will advance from 1 bend to the next as using the footswitch does

  34. Select between Auto and Manual return

  35. Calibrate takes one To the Setup and Calibrate screen

  36. Ramgauge (Y) Motor, encoder and limit switches X and Y calibration Valves Top and Mute switches Backgauge (X) Motor, encoder and limit switches Foot switches This is used for Diagnostics. All inputs and outputs change between green and red. It is easy to locate problems

  37. X parameters, fast speed, slow speed, Tolerance etc. Y parameters, fast speed, slow speed, Tolerance etc.
