  2. Online Statements Frequently Asked Questions Q. What are Online Statements?A. Online Statements allow Cardmembers to view, save and print legal monthly statements from the American Express® website. Online Statements are presented in Adobe® PDF format. Additionally Cardmembers have the option to turn paper statements off and choose to use Online Statements instead of paper statements. Q. How do I turn my paper statements off?A. Please refer to the attached powerpoint gude. Note – The Cardmember must be enrolled in Online Services first before they can access and then enrol in Online Statements. Q. Can American Express Customer Service enrol me over the phone?A. No. Because you must accept specific terms and conditions for turning your paper statements off, American Express Customer Service is not able to arrange this on your behalf. Q.Can a Corporate Card Program Administrator, or someone else from my company enrol me in this service?A. No. Because you must accept specific terms and conditions for turning your paper statements off, only the Cardmember can enrol themselves in this service.

  3. Q. What happens next?A. After you submit your request, you’ll receive an email confirming your enrolment. Your paper statements will be switched off, and at the end of your next statement period, you’ll receive an email notification to remind you to log in and view your statement. Q. Can I turn my paper statements back on?A. You can nominate at any time to return to paper statements by logging into Online Services, clicking the 'Online Statements' link and selecting ‘paper statements.’ Q. When will my Online Statement be available?A. The day after your statement period ends you will receive email notification that your statement is ready to view. Q. Do I have to supply my email address?A. We require your email address to notify you that your statement is ready to view. Cardmembers cannot enrol in this service unless a valid email address is provided. Q. Can I save my Online Statements?A. Yes. Just click the "View/Download" link, click the "Save" button when prompted and choose a folder on your hard drive. Q. Can I print my Online Statement?A. Yes. When your statement opens in Adobe Reader™, simply click the "Print" button on the toolbar, or click "Print" under the "File" menu.Q. How do I change my email address?A. You can update your email address via Online Services. Select ‘Change Details’ on the navigation bar, and then click on the ‘Email Address’ link.

Welcome EmailWelcome to American Express online statements Once you are successfully enrolled, you will receive a welcome email from American Express, as below : Dear Cardmember, Thank you for choosing online statements. You can now view, save and print your Card Account statement from the American Express website at any time. By registering for online statements you have agreed to view your Card Account statement online at americanexpress.com.sg/onlinestatement and to receive no further paper statements for the Card Account you have registered. The online statement serves as a request for payment and you will be responsible for paying your Card Account by the due date shown on your online statement. Each month, you will receive an email alert that your Card statement is ready to view. Please ensure your email address is updated, so that you will be able to receive this email alert. You can update your email address online at any time. Remember you don't have to wait to receive an email from us. You can view and manage your Card Account online at americanexpress.com.sg/onlinestatements any time. Should you require any assistance, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us.
