Planning: Planners and key issue advisors developed a focus prompt and identified participants Idea Generation: Communities of interest and expertise were identified, and responded with brainstormed ideas Structuring: Communities of interest and expertise sorted and rated the results of the idea development, authoring the structure and value domain of the issue Representation: CSI computed the maps, pattern matches and “go zones,” and prepared them for interpretation Interpretation and Use: Strategies and tactics for action will follow directly from the interpretation of the results. Defining the Issue • Specific Aim: • To identify, prioritize, and plan to address both needs and uses to expand the utilization of the Stockley Center and its property for Delawareans and Sussex County.  “If the Stockley Center and its surrounding property were open to all in Sussex County, how do you think you, your family or members of your community might use the facilities and outdoors to improve health and well-being?”

Identifying Key Informants • Over 150 participants were invited to brainstorm online. • Additionally, brainstorming was open for public input via poster announcements, comment sheets and drop boxes, and the website at several locations in Sussex County. • All invited individuals were later asked to sort and/or rate the ideas on importance and feasibility.
