  4. Human & Physical Features To begin with, Costa Rica and U.S. are alike and different in many ways. First of all, Costa Rica’s population is 4,327,000 which is about 50 times less than the U.S. Also the U.S. has a little less than double the amount of doctors. There is also more cars in the U.S. In Costa Rica there is 137, but in the U.S. there is 789. Costa Rica’s Life expectancies are also the same. They are both 78.5 years old. Finally the U.S. is much bigger in size. In conclusion, the U.S. and Costa Rica are alike and different in many ways.

  5. Costa Rican Flag Did you Know that Costa Rica’s flag has a very significant meaning? For example, the red in the flag represents the warmth of the Costa Rican people. Also, the blue represents the sky. Finally, the white on the flag means clear thinking and power. The Costa Rican flag was adopted on the 27 of November, 1906. In conclusion, the Costa Rican flag has a rich history and meaning.

  7. Religion of Costa Rica Did you know that Costa Rica is mostly Christian. First of all, Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ in 30 AD. Also in Christianity the sacred text is the Bible. In the afterlife, Christians either go to eternal heaven or hell, depending on if they were good or bad when they were living. Overall, Costa Ricans practice 3.2% no Religion, and 4.8% other. In conclusion, Costa Rica practices Christianity and some other religions.

  9. Animals, Plants & Natural Resources Did you know that Costa Rica has some very interesting animals, natural resources, and plants. First, the bat’s scientific name is Chiroptera. Also, there are 1000 bat species in Costa- Rica. Next bananas (which are found in Costa Rica) are made of 75% water. Also they were made from 2 different fruits! finally, hydropower has been used for thousands of years. It is the energy of moving water. In conclusion, Costa Rica has very interesting animals, plants, and natural resources like bats, bananas, and hydro-power.
