  28. U U is for … Utilize any and all appropriate resources available to you including: textbooks e-packs web site virtual guest speakers etc.

  29. V V is for … View your course from the student’s perspective. Take time to view the course using a demo or test student account.

  30. W W is for … Wait… for students to work with and help each other. Do not answer every bulletin board posting immediately. Let the students talk among themselves but be ready to step in if they start drifting.

  31. X X is for … “X-rated”and any “controversial” materials should not appear in a course. In cases where such content is important in meeting course objectives be very careful to prepare students and repeatedly state the need for such content in the course.

  32. Y Y is for … Young adults will not be the only participants in your online course. Encourage the students with content experience to share. Give the students some “ownership” in the course.

  33. Z Z is for … Zeroin and resolve all conflicts immediately. Stay connected with the students throughout the course. One misunderstanding can and will destroy a course.
