  2. Background Information • For 50 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally.   4. What is the logos? • The logical appeal is that people are killing our rainforests which then kills people in the world because the trees and plants give of oxygen for humans and animals to breathe.

  6. What is the ethos? • The ethical appeal is the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) symbol in the bottom. They are a well trusted source that has a purpose of protecting the environment. Also, the ethical appeal is that people should not be doing this to the rainforests.

  8. What is the pathos? • The emotional appeal is that you feel sorry for all of the animals that were affected by the deforestation. Also, you feel sorry for the people and animals around the world that are loosing oxygen from the deforestation.

  10. Who is the audience? • The audience is the public. The WWF is trying to get information out there about the deforestation. They want people to donate money to help stop this. Also it can be directed towards the people that are doing this.
