  1. The Acts of the Apostles Peter’s Second Sermon Acts 3 • “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Sunday – August 7, 2016 Many of the slides used in this presentation are prepared by Joe Price and are used and adapted with his permission.

  2. A Day of Healing(3:1-11) • Lame man did not expect what he received, 3:1-7 (40+ years old, Acts 4:22).

  3. A Day of Preaching(3:12-21) • Introduction, 3:12 • This healing was from God • Peter’s second sermon, 3:13-18 • Gospel invitation, 3:19-21

  4. A Day of Decision(3:22-26) • The Prophet must be heard, 3:22; (Deuteronomy 18:15-19) • In all things, Hebrews 1:1-2; Colossians 3:17 • The disobedient are lost forever, 3:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 • Prophetic message is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, 3:24 • Jews were situated to believe, obey and be blessed with redemption, 3:25-26 (4:1-4)
