Opportunities exist within special events and incentive programs which are proven to improve mission performance and combat capability. Opportunities exist within intramural sports and other athletic activities to help improve mission performance and combat capability. Programs include, but are not limited to the following: Varsity & Intramural Sports: Robins Air Force Base conducts a wide variety of sports and fitness programs to meet a wide variety of interest from younger airmen to retirees. Opportunities exist within youth and intramural sports, numerous fitness and health classes, and other athletic activities that improve mission performance and combat capability. Programs include, but are not limited to the following: Squadron Sports - The squadron level sports program promotes organized, competitive sports between units with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. It will offer the individual airman A sports program with competitiveness and diversity, additional alternatives for leisure time, opportunities to promote teamwork, enhance esprit de corps, and to aid commanders in their physical fitness programs.
