  3. Background Board of County Commissioners Definition: Impact Fees are one-time assessments charged by local governments to new development to fund a proportionate share of capital improvements attributed to that development.

  10. School Impact Fees Advisory Group Board of County Commissioners On February 27, 2007, OCPS accepted the updated School Impact Fee Study and requested Orange County’s review and implementation. OCPS also requested that SIFAG be charged with the review. OCPS and the HBA requested membership changes to SIFAG of Doug Kelly for Scott Justice and Jim Cooper for William Silliman, respectively.

Requested Action Board of County Commissioners • AUTHORIZATION FOR THE SCHOOL IMPACT FEE ADVISORY GROUP (SIFAG) TO REVIEW THE ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL IMPACT FEE STUDY FINAL REPORT PRIOR TO REVIEW BY THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY/PLANNING AND ZONING • COMMISSION AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AND • 2) APPROVAL OF THE SCHOOL BOARD’S APPOINTMENT OF DOUGLAS KELLY TO SUCCEED SCOTT JUSTICE AND THE HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION’S APPOINTMENT OF JIM COOPER • TO SUCCEED BILL SILLIMAN ON THE SIFAG.
