  1. My Place and Space in Canada

  2. Introduction • My theme is football. I chose football as my theme because I have been able to travel across Canada while doing something I enjoy. I have been to new places in Canada I have never experienced before. Along with these places come memories and opportunities. Playing on team Saskatchewan and participating in the Canada Cup was only the beginning.

  3. The Yara Centre in Moose Jaw is where the Team Sask combine was held. This was the beginning of our journey.

  4. We had tryouts at Mosaic Stadium in Regina to pick the top 40 players in the province. We had three two hour practices in one day when it was pouring rain.

  5. The U of S football field in Saskatoon where we spent four days practicing before the Canada Cup. As well tryouts were help at the field and all the out of town players stayed in dorms a few blocks down.

  6. Rocky Stone Field is where we played all of our Canada Cup games in Moncton, New Brunswick. We ended up in 4th place just shy of a medal.

  7. We took a day trip to Charlotte Town, PEI. We were rewarded with a free buffet from a world wide known restaurant which specialized in lobster.

  8. We were stuck in the Toronto airport for 8 hours. Our flight got delayed 3 times and after 2 weeks I really wanted to just go home.
