Summary • State park officials will not arrest topless women at the stat’s parks or beaches, but will ask them politely to cover up. • Officials are waiting on the state Court of Appeals to clarify a ruling stating that state law prohibiting women from baring breasts should only be enforced if the act is lewd or for profit.

Summary (Continued) • In the past, park officials would arrest women who went topless at state parks or beaches. • The state Court of Appeals recently ruled 6 to 0 to throw out the convictions of two women arrested for going topless to protest the state nudity law, which they claimed discriminated against women.

  4. Summary (Again) • Yesterday, the states highest court ruled that women could go in public with breast bared legally. • Laws that require women to clothe their chests were found to be unconstitutional because it singles out women only.
