  2. What is internet communications? Is using communication through the internet to help connect with people in another street, another city or even another country. Many devises today wouldn’t be around without the internet and the way it can communicate to other persons and other companies, for instance, email and online shopping wouldn’t be possible without this. http://webliminal.com/essentials/eoc-rtfs/ch03.htm

  4. Internet communication The three internet communications which I have decided to analyse are:- • Email • Social networking • Online shopping

  5. email Although only came about in the 1970s, it was a major hit with the public and manufactures incorporated it within their devises:- • Unix mail was networked by 1978's uucp, which was also used for USENET newsgroup postings • IBM mainframe email was linked by BITNET in 198 • IBM PCs running DOS in 1984 could link with FidoNet for email and shared bulletin board posting Reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email

  6. Without the use of the email, such information wouldn’t be relevant to us. For instance:- • the use of password reset settings • The use of receipts for items that we have purchased over the internet • The use of spam.. • Being able to send and receive electronic mail instead of using the post office to send a letter which would take a lot longer than a few seconds.

Being able to be successful in signing up to online chat rooms or information on relatives with your unique email address which only you can access • Being able to get offers from shops by signing up with your email address There are so many useful ways in which we use email and we do take It for granted because it’s a brilliant way in which to send useful information in no time. Society would have partially stopped if this piece of technology wasn’t created but I am glad it was because we are able to do things which we wouldn’t be able to do without the use of the email.

  8. Social networking There are tonnes of social network sites that help us to connect with people who live a distance away or whether they live just around the corner. A way for family members to still stay in touch. What is social networking? A Social network is a theoreticalconstruct useful in the social sciences to study relationships between individuals, groups, organizations, or even entire societies (social units, see differentiation). There are many many social network sites that have helped people develop the chance to talk again for free and straight away as someone from America can speak to someone in England at the same time without having to send letters, much like the email. Some of these sites include:- • Tagged • Myspace • Bebo • Facebook • Twitter • msn

  10. without these sites then many family reunions and relationships may not have been made today and I believe social network sites a massive success although, they aren't without their downfall. For instance, children underage being looked at by older men and paedophiles being able to find out about someone through the internet. Arguments within families being started over because of someone getting the wrong meaning on a social network site and your information being shared with many other people. As well as children not going to ‘call’ for their friends anymore and simply just writing to them over a computer to come out which is another reason why England is in a health crisis.

Online shopping Online shopping is a major brilliance that was created to help elderly people, people with no time and people with disability be able to feel happy that they are able to do something's on their own so it helps them claim back their life again. It also helps small shops online be able to sell their products to a larger audience and for the customer to get a better deal.

  12. Here are a few online shopping areas which are visited by millions of people per day because of how popular they have become:- • Ebay • Amazon • Play.com • Hmv • Argos • Asda • tesco

  13. Without these online shops then life would be a lot more header and nothing would ever be able to get done. With the help of helping disabled people or elderly people with their weekly shopping online or being able to get the best bargain then none of this would have been successful without this uniquely brilliant invention.
