VANGUARD publications CIVITAS in numbers: Achievements in sustainable urban mobility 2008-2012 CIVITAS Plus facts and figures on each thematic category Measure Directory Collection of all measure description, showing before/ after CIVITAS situations. VANGUARD will appreciate the LDMs and PDMs availabilities in the early new year to help finalise the contents of this deliverable. Living Laboratories Collection of all posters in A4 Innovative transport solutions: CIVITAS makes the difference Includes samples from the CP case studies Policy Recommendations POINTER publication, with support from VANGUARD

CPs publications: Case studies Will be made available for download from the CIVITAS website, and will also be used by VANGUARD for the city examples in the “Innovative transport solutions” produced by VANGUARD 8 case studies per CP of 3-5 pages Each case study to show 1 thematic category in one city including examples, results, figures, etc Template available and sent to CPs Deadline: VANGUARD needs them for its publication from February 2013

Upcoming workshops organised by VANGUARD Third result workshop: Rotterdam, 12 October Freight transport Clean fuels and vehicles Fourth workshop: Geneva, April 2012 (back to back to the 7th European Sustainable Cities and Towns conference, 17-19 April 2013) Mobility management Car-independent lifestyle Training Workshop: Keeping the fire burning the legacy of your CIVITAS measures in your city Autumn 2013: to be organised in conjunction with CIVITAS Forum conference in Brest, France

  8. The next call for PAC members will take place in spring after the next PAC in Brussels. For the Forum conference, we encourage the participants of the Forum to complete the evaluation form if they haven’t done so already. To be confirmed: REC probably will still be looking for each CP to put up about 775 Euro for the pecha kucha equipment that was hired. Forum conference and PAC

Study Tour programme • 2012 • Utrecht • Date: 11 October organised in conjunction with the CIVITAS workshop "CO2 free city logistics" in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on 12 October 2012. • Subject: Innovative Sustainable Freight Transport in Utrecht. • Number of registrations: 24 • Coimbra • Date: 8-9 November • Subject: Smart mobility solutions for public transport operators • Proposals for 2013 • Ljubljana: 5 possible measures proposed with as a horizontal theme the role and usefulness of project evaluation • Zagreb: theme to be determined but study tour to be organised in conjunction with Ljubljana • Donostia-San Sebastian: showcasing the measures that helped them win the CIVITAS city of the year award • Graz: PAC-study tour on Public Space end of February
