Ensure there is some working space in the middle of the triangle. • Use the tool to help you: • Engage representatives from each area at the early (pre-design) stages of your project by having them draft their motivations with sticky notes and post them on the wall adjacent their corner (business or architecture) • Navigate and trade-off tricky design or functionality decisions by writing the item (requirement, function or design element) on a sticky note and move it around between each of the three points while you discuss various approaches with members of the other teams. Aim for the right balance of all motivations.
