  1. To understand how to add layer in illustrator, in addition its necessary to know about layers. However, layers are used to assign, align, edit, and indirect protection for a project. Meanwhile, we can use layer as assign of project because we can perform small amount of work in single layer other than complete project at single layer. Hence, it can be used to edit, we can edit specific work by selecting any layer. Same as by arranging the layers, visibility of project can be change. Some times unconsciously a layer can be delete, but if project divided into multiple layer. Then by deleting the single layer its is possible to save complete project. However looking these instructions, add layer in illustrator can be placed at right position. 1 Add layer type Two types of layers can be add into illustrator. -First one is Layer – Secondly is Sub layer Hence both types of layers have their own functions in adobe illustrator. Meanwhile, the relation between these layers is same as the relation of parent and child. While we add sub layer then it will be the child of the selected layer in which sub layer is added. So the relation between them in illustrator can be seen in the picture below. Mostly we add sub layer, when we start the project having in-depth designing. That provide ease to change any time rather to re align the design again.
