  2. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 1 John 1:6 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. 1 John 2:1

  3. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him... 1 John 3:6 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil...No one who is born of God will continue to sin... 3:8-9

  4. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin... 1 John 5:18

  5. ...if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1,2

  6. If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death.

  7. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. 1 John 5:16,17
